             abstract = "The TRMM-3B43 product provides monthly rainfall data estimated by 
                         remote sensing. These data can be useful in hydrological 
                         applications, climate studies and water resources management. 
                         However, it is necessary to evaluate their uncertainties in 
                         relation to surface measurements, in order to validate the 
                         usefulness of these estimates. The objective of this work is to 
                         analyze, in a spatial and temporal way, the degree of coherence 
                         between the TRMM-3B43 product and pluviometric stations of the 
                         state of Esp{\'{\i}}rito Santo. For this, the mean error, root 
                         mean square error (RMSE) and Pearson''s linear correlation were 
                         used. The results showed that, in general, the TRMM-3B43 product 
                         presented good precipitation estimates for the state of 
                         Esp{\'{\i}}rito Santo, with low average error and RMSE and high 
                         linear correlation. Regions with lower mean rainfall presented 
                         lower RMSE and higher correlation. The TRMM overestimated regions 
                         where the mean rainfall is higher and underestimated regions with 
                         lower mean rainfall.",
